Needham Bank Main Office Renovation
We want to thank you all for your patience during this construction period! Please join us in celebrating
These pages will provide an overview of our renovation project as well as weekly updates including any temporary changes to customer access during construction.
Needham Bank has always possessed a spirit of service to the community and personal attention to customer interaction and satisfaction. As our scope of banking products has changed and the number of customers grown, it has become necessary to expand the size of the bank building in order to maintain our quality of service. The Bank anticipated the need for expansion over ten years ago when we purchased the historic bank building next door. In addition, this renovation gives us the opportunity to install new technologies that will permit us to serve you better and enhance your relationship with the Bank.
The goal of the project is to make the main floor available for customer contact with the tellers, customer service representatives and bank management. The project will also include a complete renovation of the basement and second floors to maximize space for meeting rooms, offices, a staff lounge, and storage and training areas.
The public space will feature a main entrance (shown above) that will provide handicapped access to the teller line and customer service areas on the left and management offices on the right. The popular rear entrance will also be enhanced and made handicapped accessible, and a handicapped parking space will be added. Each entrance will feature an ATM for your banking convenience.
A receptionist will be centrally located between the teller and customer service areas to help direct customers and visitors to their destinations. All office areas will allow increased privacy and noise suppression to help ensure the confidentiality of conversations. Additional features on the first floor include an area showcasing the rich historical background of Needham Bank and new waiting areas for customers and visitors.
Please visit these pages in the weeks and months to come as we move forward with this major project. We are excited about the new construction and look forward to a ribbon cutting in the fall of 2007. In the meantime, we apologize for any inconvenience the project causes and, as always, welcome your input.
