Philip Crotts joins Needham Bank as Vice President IT Security Program Officer

Needham Bank recently announced that Phillip Crotts has joined the Information Technology department as Vice President IT Security Program Officer. Reporting to James Gordon, Senior Vice President-Information Technology, Mr. Crotts is responsible for the maintenance of IT security functions and serving as the IT liaison for federal examiners and external and internal auditors.

With over 5 years of experience in analysis, governance, compliance, risk management and engineering, Mr. Crotts is an information systems security professional. Most recently, he served as an Information Systems Security Manager at F.H. Cann & Associates where he reviewed and revised existing System Security Plan and completed a System Security Plan for a new line of business. Additionally, he worked to improve the organization’s security posture and assisted the team with completing quarterly Ongoing Security Authorization audits and any resulting Plans of Actions and Milestones. Prior to that, he was a Senior Information Security Analyst for Abiomed.

Mr. Crotts received his Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from Salem State University, where he received Phi Kappa Phi National Honors and the Lathrop Award for mathematics.
