Colleen Lynch Joins Needham Bank as Senior Vice President, Chief Compliance Officer

Needham Bank is pleased to announce that Colleen Lynch has joined the Risk & Compliance Department as Senior Vice President, Chief Compliance Officer. Reporting to Peter Bakkala, Executive Vice President, Chief Risk Officer, Ms. Lynch will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the Bank’s enterprise-wide Compliance Management Programs. 

Ms. Lynch brings extensive experience in legal advisory, compliance, and regulatory affairs. She has a proven track record of building and managing compliance programs globally, most recently serving as Vice President of Global Compliance at BlueSnap, Inc., where she successfully led the company’s global payments regulatory, legal, compliance, and risk functions, while also managing acquiring bank and payment network relationships and services. Prior to that, she served as Risk Manager for Mergers and Acquisitions and Manager in the Consumer Compliance Department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston.

Ms. Lynch is a graduate of Boston College Law School and a member of the Massachusetts State Bar. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Stonehill College. Additionally, she attended the MIT Sloan School of Management’s Greater Boston Executive Program, as well as the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston’s Thrive System Leadership Initiative.
