Needham PD veteran investigator has helped recover more than $1.3 million in funds for Needham Bank and its clients.
NEEDHAM, Mass., May 14, 2026 — Needham Bank honored Detective Michael Schlittler of the Needham Police Department for helping the Bank and its clients recover more than $1.3 million in funds through his investigative work on complex fraud cases.
The Bank recognized Det. Schlittler’s efforts at a ceremony on Monday, May 11 where he was presented with a plaque recognizing his police work and partnership with Needham Bank. A donation in his name was also made to The Hundred Club of Massachusetts. The veteran Needham Police Department investigator has significantly contributed to the advancement of fraud cases, asset recovery, and the protection of Needham Bank and its customers.
