Needham Bank announced that Keith Phelps has joined the Information Technology (IT) department as Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer. Reporting to Jim White, Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer, he will be responsible for leading and managing the IT department, driving the department’s mission to use technology as a business differentiator.
From 2016 to 2023, Mr. Phelps worked for Motional AD, Inc. where he most recently was Vice President, Head of Information Technology. In that role, he reported directly to the CEO to formulate a technology mission, strategy, vision and core solutions to facilitate substantial expansion. Prior to that, he was Divisional Chief Enterprise Architect, developing and executing on corporate strategy and integration into common network and enterprise platforms. Mr. Phelps worked for Flagstar Bank as a First Vice President, Chief Enterprise Architect before joining Motional.

Mr. Phelps received his Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications from Michigan State University.
