eStatement and eDocument Update

Our eStatement and eDocument delivery system is updated. This update is in direct response to customer feedback and will allow us to bring the same paper statement quality to eStatements starting with your statement for November 2022.

Below is a summary of what to expect with this update:

UpdateWhat does this mean for me?
After November 16th, eStatements and other eDocuments will continue to be available where you normally access them in Online Banking. You will be able to access your eStatements and eDocuments normally starting November 16th.
Needham Bank eStatements and eDocuments will now be the same as printed statements and available as PDFs. Previously, eStatements were only available in an HTML format. You will now be able to save your eStatement and eDocuments to your device as a PDF. Check images will be accessible as links in a side pane of the eStatement Viewer.
Our eStatement and eDocument retention policy is being updated to 36 months. The existing system has maintained all of your past eStatements but with this update, you will no longer have access to eStatements older than 36 months. After November 16th, you will only have access to the past 36 months of eStatements and eDocuments, if available. Historical copies are available upon request but may be subject to a fee. Accounts opened prior to May 2020 will have individual eStatement history for that time and may be part of a combined eStatement today.
After November 16th, all users with online banking access to an eStatement enrolled account will automatically be enrolled in eStatements. If you were not previously individually enrolled in eStatements but are on a joint account that is enrolled in eStatements, you will start to receive new email notifications regarding the statements on that account. For example: John and Jane Smith are joint owners on an account and both have access to the account online. John has registered for eStatements but Jane has not, so currently only John received emails when statements are ready. However, after the update, Jane will automatically start receiving statement emails regarding the Smith’s joint account.
